LOS ANGELES (AP) — Andrew Bynum had 23 points and 16 rebounds, Pau Gasol made back-to-back 3-pointers in overtime, and the Los Angeles Lakers won their fourth straight game without Kobe Bryant, 112-108 over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.

Ramon Sessions scored 22 points, and Gasol had 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Lakers, who are 4-1 while the NBA’s leading scorer rests his bruised shin.

Metta World Peace had 18 points as Los Angeles rallied from a fourth-quarter deficit before finishing off a four-game season sweep of the defending champion Mavericks, who swept the Lakers out of last season’s playoffs.

Dirk Nowitzki had 24 points on 9-of-28 shooting and 14 rebounds, but Jason Terry missed a potential tying layup at the rim with 5 seconds left in overtime for the Mavericks, whose three-game winning streak ended. Delonte West scored 20 points, and Terry had 21 before missing a shot while trying to avoid Matt Barnes’ defense.

HEAT 93, KNICKS 85

NEW YORK (AP) — LeBron James had 29 points and 10 rebounds, Dwyane Wade added 28 points and nine boards, and the Heat beat the Knicks to clinch the Southeast Division title.

Chris Bosh finished with 16 points and 14 rebounds for the Heat, who pulled away in the fourth quarter of a possible playoff preview. Miami is second in the Eastern Conference and New York came into the game tied for seventh, although they fell back behind Philadelphia after the loss.

Carmelo Anthony scored 42 points for the Knicks, but had only two baskets in the fourth quarter, perhaps tired after playing 43 minutes. New York had its nine-game home winning streak snapped.

BULLS 100, PISTONS 94, OT

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — Derrick Rose scored 24 points, including a tying 3-pointer in the final seconds of regulation, and the Bulls beat the Pistons for the 15th straight time.

Rodney Stuckey scored 32 points for the Pistons, but he missed two crucial free throws late in the fourth quarter. Rose’s 3-pointer with 6.4 seconds remaining tied the game at 86 and sent it to the extra session.

Joakim Noah had 20 points and 17 rebounds for the Bulls, who are 3½ games ahead of Miami in the race for the top seed in the Eastern Conference.

MAGIC 100, CAVALIERS 84

CLEVELAND (AP) — Jameer Nelson scored 21 points and the Magic clinched a playoff berth in the Eastern Conference with a win over the Cavaliers.

Orlando led from wire-to-wire despite playing without star center Dwight Howard, who has missed the last four games with a herniated disk in his back.

The news the Magic made the postseason took a back seat to the team’s injury list, which seems to grow by the day. Howard and forward Hedo Turkoglu (facial fracture) are sidelined indefinitely. Coach Stan Van Gundy said before the game he’s preparing to play the rest of the regular season and the playoffs without the two players.

Antawn Jamison led the Cavaliers with 21 points. Donald Sloan scored a career-high 15.

RAPTORS 102, HAWKS 86

ATLANTA (AP) — DeMar DeRozan scored 23 points and the injury-riddled Raptors beat the Hawks for their second straight win over a playoff-bound team.

Alan Anderson, one of three Toronto players whose 10-day contract is about to expire, added 16 points for the Raptors, who were coming off an 84-79 win against Boston on Friday.

Toronto, bound for the NBA’s draft lottery, dominated in Atlanta. The other two former D-League players who’ve recently joined the Raptors contributed as well. Ben Uzoh, who like Anderson started, and rookie Justin Dentmon scored 10 points each.

The Hawks, who routed the Magic 109-81 Friday for their fourth win in five games, never led against the Raptors. Josh Smith scored 12 of his 26 points in the first quarter, but Atlanta allowed Toronto to shoot 55 percent (41 for 74).

KINGS 104, TRAIL BLAZERS 103

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Marcus Thornton scored 20 points and made the winning jumper with 3.4 seconds left, lifting the Kings to a victory over the Trail Blazers.

Thornton hit a 17-footer off an inbound pass before Portland’s Raymond Felton missed a desperation shot from halfcourt at the buzzer.

DeMarcus Cousins scored 23 points and Tyreke Evans also had 20 for the Kings, who rallied from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter to snap a seven-game skid with only their third win in 15 games. Isaiah Thomas had 18 points and eight assists.

Wes Matthews made a career-high eight 3-pointers and scored 31 points for the Trail Blazers, who made 16 of their 32 3-point attempts. Felton scored 19 points, Nicolas Batum had 14, and JJ Hickson had 10 points and 13 rebounds.

CELTICS 94, BOBCATS 82

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Rajon Rondo had 20 points and 16 assists to help the Celtics beat the Bobcats despite playing without three of their star players.

Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen were given the night off to rest and did not make the trip to Charlotte, N.C. to face the NBA-worst Bobcats. But the Celtics won anyway as Avery Bradley and Brandon Bass each scored 22 points.

Greg Stiemsma started in place of Garnett and had six blocks, tying a career-high.

The loss was the Bobcats’ 16th straight, tying a dubious franchise record set earlier this season. Gerald Henderson had 22 points in a losing effort for the Bobcats (7-52). If the Bobcats lose their final seven games this season they will finish with the worst single-season winning percentage in NBA history.

HORNETS 88, GRIZZLIES 75

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Eric Gordon scored 18 points and the Hornets won for the fourth time in five games, upsetting the playoff-contending Grizzlies.

Saints owner Tom Benson attended his first game since Friday’s announcement that he had agreed to buy the Hornets from the NBA. He received a standing ovation, and the Hornets kept the applause coming as they pulled away in the fourth quarter from a Grizzlies squad that had won five of its previous six games.

Carl Landry had 16 points and 11 rebounds, while Jason Smith had 14 points and 10 rebounds for New Orleans.

Rudy Gay scored 24 points for Memphis.

NUGGETS 101, ROCKETS 86

DENVER (AP) — Arron Afflalo scored 20 of his 22 points in the second half, leading the Nuggets to a win over the Rockets in the opener of a crucial home-and-home set between playoff hopefuls.

The teams play again in Houston on Monday night.

With the win, the Nuggets took sole possession of seventh place in the Western Conference, a-half game behind Dallas, which lost in overtime to the Los Angeles Lakers earlier Sunday.

The teams are clinging to the final two playoff spots in the West, trying to fend off fast-charging Phoenix and Utah.

Ty Lawson also scored 20 points for Denver, which has won five straight at home. Chase Budinger and Luis Scola each scored 19 to lead the Rockets, who lost their third straight game and saw their four-game road winning streak come to an end.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Andrew Bynum had 30 points and eight rebounds, Matt Barnes added a season-high 24 points, and the Los Angeles Lakers clinched a playoff berth without Kobe Bryant or coach Mike Brown, holding off the Denver Nuggets 103-97 Friday night.

Pau Gasol had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Pacific Division-leading Lakers (38-22), who have won three of four without Bryant. The NBA scoring leader is resting his bruised shin.

Los Angeles also played without Brown, who left Staples Center shortly before tipoff for undisclosed personal reasons. Assistant coach John Kuester ran the team.

Barnes played an enormous game in a reserve role while matching his highest-scoring performance in two seasons with the Lakers. He scored six consecutive points after Denver trimmed Los Angeles’ lead to one point, hitting a 3-pointer and adding a clutch jumper with 1:29 to play.

Andre Miller scored 20 points and Al Harrington added 18 for the Nuggets, who had won five of seven. Arron Afflalo also had 18 for Denver, which is hanging on to a playoff spot.

MAVERICKS 97, TRAIL BLAZERS 94

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Dirk Nowitzki had 24 points and nine rebounds, Delonte West added 21 points, seven assists and six rebounds, and the Dallas Mavericks beat the Portland Trail Blazers 97-94 on Friday night.

Shawn Marion had 17 points and 14 rebounds for defending champion Dallas, which has a 1 1/2-game lead over Denver and Houston for the sixth playoff spot in the Western Conference. Brandan Wright added 13 points and eight rebounds.

Nicolas Batum had 20 to lead the Blazers, Jamal Crawford scored 18 and Wesley Matthews had 15 points and seven rebounds.

The Mavericks jumped out to an early lead and held Portland at a comfortable distance for 3 1/2 quarters. Dallas was up by 24 points in the third and 16 points with less than four minutes to go in the game.

NETS 95, 76ERS 89

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Gerald Green scored 23 points, and Kris Humphries had 18 points and 13 rebounds.

Deron Williams had 11 points and 10 assists, MarShon Brooks scored 22 points and Jordan Williams had 13. New Jersey’s 13 road wins are four more than they have at home.

Jrue Holiday led the Sixers with 19 points, Evan Turner had 18 and Thaddeus Young 13.

The Sixers snapped a two-game winning streak and suffered a big blow in their push up the Eastern Conference standings. They started the game clinging to seventh place and play six of their final seven games on the road. This was a game they could not afford to lose.

The Sixers, who started 20-9, have not won three straight games since March 7-11.

HEAT 105, BOBCATS 82

MIAMI (AP) — LeBron James had 19 points and nine rebounds and Chris Bosh had 18 points and seven rebounds to help Miami complete a three-game season-series sweep of Charlotte.

Miami led by 22 after three quarters and rested James, who also had five assists, the entire final period.

The Heat, playing without Dwyane Wade again due to an ankle injury, improved to 11-1 in the star guard’s absence. He is expected back for Sunday’s game at New York.

Derrick Brown had 21 points and nine rebounds to lead Charlotte, which lost its 15th straight. The Bobcats trailed 33-19 after the first quarter and got no closer than 15 points in the second half.

PACERS 102, CAVALIERS 83

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Danny Granger scored 18 points to help Indiana clinch a playoff berth.

Tyler Hansbrough scored 16 points, George Hill had 15 and seven assists, Leandro Barbosa scored 13 points and Roy Hibbert added 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Pacers, who have won seven of eight. The Pacers have won all three games Hill has started at point guard while Darren Collison has recovered from a sore groin.

Indiana (37-22) matched its win total from last season. The Pacers are in third place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Omri Casspi matched a season high with 14 points and Samardo Samuels had 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Cavaliers. Cleveland shot just 35 percent from the field.

The Pacers, best known for their defense, scored more than 100 points for the eighth time in nine games. Indiana won the season series 3-1.

RAPTORS 84, CELTICS 79.

TORONTO (AP) — DeMar DeRozan scored 13 of his 22 points in the third quarter and made four pivotal free throws down the stretch.

DeRozan was a perfect 13-for-13 from the line as the Raptors ended a four-game losing skid despite being without two of their top players.

Big man Andrea Bargnani was shut down for the rest of 2011-12 with an aggravation of a lingering left calf injury that had forced him to miss nearly half the season, while point guard Jose Calderon was still feeling the effects of a right eye bruise and was kept out as a precaution.

Paul Pierce’s 18 points paced the Celtics (34-25), who nearly wiped out a 15-point fourth-quarter deficit but ultimately fell shot in the opener of a dizzying stretch that will see them play six games in six different cities over an eight-day span. Boston remained three games ahead of Philadelphia atop the Atlantic Division after the 76ers dropped a 95-89 decision to the New Jersey Nets.

HAWKS 109, MAGIC 81

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Jannero Pargo hit five 3-pointers and scored 17 points, and Joe Johnson, Josh Smith and Marvin Williams each had 16.

The Hawks earned their third straight win over the Magic this season and have now won six consecutive regular-season meetings over their division mates.

Atlanta shot 50 percent from the field (40 for 79) for the game, including 14 3-pointers. The Hawks led by 35 at one point.

Glen Davis and Von Wafer each scored 16 points to lead the Magic. Orlando lost its second straight and fell to 1-4 without center Dwight Howard, who sat for the fifth time in seven games with back spasms.

KNICKS 103, WIZARDS 65

NEW YORK (AP) — Baron Davis scored a season-high 18 points on his 33rd birthday, JR Smith had 23, and the New York Knicks surged into a tie for seventh place in the Eastern Conference.

Carmelo Anthony and Steve Novak also had 18 for the Knicks, who could now be looking at a playoff preview when they host second-place Miami on Sunday. The Knicks tied Philadelphia after the 76ers lost earlier Friday to New Jersey, and New York holds the tiebreaker for the No. 7 seed.

Anthony was well off his NBA-leading average of 32.4 points through his first five games in April. But he only played 29 minutes as the Knicks narrowly missed their second 40-point victory under interim coach Mike Woodson.

Davis shot 7 of 9 in just 23 minutes for the Knicks, who won for the fifth time in six games and improved to 14-4 under Woodson, who started with a 42-point victory over Portland on March 14.

THUNDER 115, KINGS 89

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Kevin Durant had 29 points and nine rebounds and Russell Westbrook scored 22 points for Oklahoma City in the first of three meetings with Sacramento in a 12-day span.

Kendrick Perkins added 11 points and 11 rebounds for his second double-double of the season as the Thunder (43-16) didn’t even need their starters in the fourth quarter to hang onto the best record in the Western Conference.

Rookie Isaiah Thomas scored 21 points, and DeMarcus Cousins had nine points and 12 rebounds for the Kings, who dropped their seventh straight for their longest losing streak of the season.

HORNETS 96, JAZZ 85

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Eric Gordon scored 10 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, and the New Orleans Hornets won their first game under prospective new owner Tom Benson.

Chris Kaman added 19 points for the Hornets, who won for the third time in four games while delivering a critical loss to the Jazz, who entered the night 1 1/2 games out of the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot.

Hours earlier, Benson, the longtime owner of the NFL’s Saints, agreed to buy the Hornets from the NBA, virtually assuring the club’s long-term presence in New Orleans. Then Gordon returned from a two-game absence caused by back soreness and made the difference on the court as the Hornets won their second straight.

Paul Millsap scored 27 points for Utah.

BUCKS 113, PISTONS 97

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — Drew Gooden scored 26 points, and the Milwaukee Bucks pulled away from the Detroit Pistons in the third quarter.

Milwaukee is in ninth place in the Eastern Conference, trailing the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers by two games in the race for the playoffs.

The Bucks led 52-47 after two quarters but pushed the lead to double digits early in the second half and eventually led by 20. The Pistons fought back to get within 12 after three, but Milwaukee maintained a comfortable advantage throughout the final quarter.

Brandon Jennings had 20 points and 10 assists for Milwaukee, which had all five starters score in double figures.

Brandon Knight scored 25 points for the Pistons, and Ben Gordon added 24.

SUNS 112, ROCKETS 105

HOUSTON (AP) — Marcin Gortat had 20 points and 15 rebounds, Steve Nash had 18 points and 10 assists and Phoenix boosted its playoff hopes.

Jared Dudley scored 19 points, Michael Redd added 13 and Sebastian Telfair had 12 for the Suns, who moved into the ninth spot in the Western Conference. Phoenix also moved within one game of the Rockets, who came in holding the No. 7 seed in the West.

Grant Hill had four points and six rebounds in his first game back following March 30 surgery to repair a medial meniscus tear in his right knee.

Marcus Camby had 14 points and 18 rebounds and Luis Scola scored 21 for the Rockets.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Chris Paul scored 31 points, including the game-winning shot on a layup with 8.8 seconds left, lifting the Los Angeles Clippers to a 100-98 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night that kept them in position for home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Paul got past Thunder defensive specialist Thabo Sefolosha and squeezed the ball onto the rim past the league’s leading shot blocker, Serge Ibaka, to put L.A. ahead.

Kevin Durant missed a 3-pointer that could have won it, hitting the back rim on a shot over Clippers center DeAndre Jordan from the left wing.

Durant led Oklahoma City with 22 points and Russell Westbrook scored 20 on 3-for-14 shooting. The West-leading Thunder have lost four of their last six games.

Blake Griffin added 16 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists for Los Angeles.

LAKERS 98, SPURS 84

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Andrew Bynum had 16 points and 30 rebounds, the most in an NBA game this season, and the Lakers didn’t need Kobe Bryant to blow out the Spurs.

Metta World Peace scored 26 points and the Lakers, playing their third straight game without the injured Bryant, manhandled the Spurs underneath to hand the West’s second-place team one of their most embarrassing losses this season.

Bryant is sitting out to heal his sore left shin. There remains no timetable on when the NBA’s leading scorer might return.

Bynum’s dominating night surpassed the previous NBA season-high of 25 rebounds, set twice by Orlando’s Dwight Howard and Milwaukee’s Ersan Ilyasova.

Danny Green led the Spurs with 22 points.

HORNETS 105, KINGS 96

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Jason Smith scored 22 points, hitting 10 of 12 shots, to lead the Hornets to a victory over the Kings.

Marco Belinelli added 21 points and Greivis Vasquez 15 points for New Orleans, which shot 55.9 percent (38 of 68) and surged ahead for good with an 18-3 run in the third quarter.

Marcus Thornton led all scorers with 25 points and Tyreke Evans added 19 points for the Kings, who have lost six straight.

DeMarcus Cousins had early foul trouble and played only 20 minutes, missing nine of his 12 shots.

Xavier Henry scored 14 points, while Chris Kaman grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked three shots for the Hornets, who have won two of three.

KNICKS 111, BUCKS 107

MILWAUKEE (AP) — J.R. Smith hit a 3-pointer for the lead with 1:04 left, and the Knicks held on to beat the Bucks in a game that could turn out to be critical to both teams’ playoff hopes.

Carmelo Anthony had 32 points and 10 rebounds while Tyson Chandler added 19 points for the Knicks, who took a two-game lead on Milwaukee for the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference. Smith had 14 points off the bench.

Monta Ellis had 35 points and Brandon Jennings added 22 for the Bucks, who were coming off a 20-point loss to Oklahoma City at home on Monday.

The Bucks had won two of three games with the Knicks before Wednesday, and a win would have given them a head-to-head tiebreaker edge.

CELTICS 88, HAWKS 86, OT

BOSTON (AP) — Paul Pierce overcame a miserable shooting game with a key jumper in overtime and Rajon Rondo finished with a triple-double with 20 assists, 10 points and 10 rebounds to lift the surging Celtics to a win over the Hawks.

Kevin Garnett had 22 points and grabbed 12 boards before fouling out with just under 3 minutes left in OT, and Brandon Bass, who also hit a jumper in OT, scored 21 points.

It was Rondo’s 19th straight game with double digits in assists.

Jeff Teague led the Hawks with 21 points and Josh Smith had 20 with 11 rebounds. The Hawks had won eight of 11 since losing to Boston at home on March 19.

GRIZZLIES 104, SUNS 93

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Rudy Gay scored a season-high 32 points and the Grizzlies won their fourth straight with a victory over the Suns.

Memphis outscored the Suns 17-6 after Phoenix tied the game at 87 with 6:27 left. Dante Cunningham had six of his 10 points during the stretch run.

Zach Randolph had 17 points and nine rebounds for Memphis, which won for the ninth time in the last 11 games. O.J. Mayo finished with 15 points, and Mike Conley had 12 points and seven assists.

Marcin Gortat had 19 points for Phoenix on 9 of 12 from the floor, while Shannon Brown scored 18. The Suns’ two-game winning streak was snapped. They are 10th in the Western Conference.

JAZZ 103, ROCKETS 91

HOUSTON (AP) — Gordon Hayward scored a season-high 29 points and the Jazz helped their fading playoff hopes with a win over the Rockets.

Paul Millsap added 21 points and Al Jefferson had 15 for the Jazz, who held the No. 10 spot in the Western Conference standings coming into the game.

The Jazz shot 51 percent (40 of 78) and led by as many as 18, taking advantage of Houston’s poor shooting.

Houston started the night in the sixth in the West, and had a four-game winning streak snapped.

Goran Dragic scored 19, Kyle Lowry added 15 off the bench and Marcus Camby grabbed 13 rebounds for the Rockets, who shot 36 percent (31 of 87) from the field.

PACERS 104, CAVALIERS 98, OT

CLEVELAND (AP) — Danny Granger scored 23 points, five in overtime, and George Hill made a dagger 3-pointer in the extra session, lifting the Pacers to a win over the Cavaliers.

The Pacers, clinging to the No. 3 spot in the Eastern Conference, outscored the Cavs 10-4 in OT.

David West added 19 points, Hill had 17 and Roy Hibbert finished with 11 rebounds, five assists and four blocks for Indiana, 6-1 in its last seven.

Antawn Jamison scored 21 and Lester Hudson 19 for the Cavs, a league-worst 0-5 in overtime games. The Cavs were just 2 of 9 in the extra five minutes.

76ERS 93, RAPTORS 75

TORONTO (AP) — Thaddeus Young scored 17 points, Nikola Vucevic had 12 and the 76ers beat the Raptors, an important victory in their chase of a playoff berth.

This time, the 76ers blew the game open in the fourth, outscoring Toronto 30-18 and coasting to victory thanks to an 11-0 run. The Raptors went scoreless for 4:16 late in the game.

DENVER (AP) — Ty Lawson scored 24 points, including four free throws in the final 17.6 seconds, to help the Nuggets hold on for a win over a Timberwolves squad that was missing Kevin Love after the All-Star forward went out with a mild concussion in the first quarter.

Arron Afflalo added 21 points for the surging Nuggets, who have won two straight to remain in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race.

Love sustained a head injury early in the game after taking an inadvertent elbow to the head from JaVale McGee when the Nuggets center went up for a shot. Love had missed all five of his shots before being knocked out of the game.

He was going to be kept overnight at an area hospital for precautionary reasons.

TRAIL BLAZERS 118, WARRIORS 110

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Jamal Crawford scored a season-high 34 points, Wesley Matthews had two baskets in the final minute and the Trail Blazers beat the Warriors despite missing All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge.

J.J. Hickson added 23 points and 13 rebounds, and Matthews finished with 18 points for Portland. Raymond Felton had 16 points and 10 assists.

David Lee had 21 points and 14 rebounds for the Warriors (22-35), while Nate Robinson added 19 points and eight assists. Golden State trailed by as many as 15 in the third quarter but fought back to tie the game at 95.

Portland led 109-106 after Klay Thompson made a 3-pointer, but Matthews knocked down a mid-range jumper and then a 3-pointer to put away the game away.

Pau Gasol had 30 points and 13 rebounds, and Andrew Bynum added 23 points and 18 boards for the Lakers, who surrendered the most points they have allowed this season.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Paul Pierce scored 24 points to help Boston beat Indiana.

Zaza Pachulia had 12 points and 16 rebounds, while Jannero Pargo had 15 points and nine assists for the Hawks. Ivan Johnson added 17 points.

Led by Howard, the Magic outrebounded the Sixers 53-41. Howard had 13 defensive boards.

It was just the third field goal of the game for Bryant, who finished with 11 points on 3 of 21 shooting as the Lakers ended a two-game skid at home. Pau Gasol had 21 points and 11 rebounds, and Andrew Bynum added 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Ramon Sessions had 10 points and 10 assists.

Bryant was 0 for 7 on 3-pointers before making his only one. He had five assists, three rebounds and four fouls in 39 minutes.

Jarrett Jack had 18 points and 10 assists for the Hornets, but he missed a go-ahead bank shot with 4.9 seconds left.

76ERS 95, HAWKS 90

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Elton Brand scored 13 of his season-high 25 points in the fourth quarter to rally Philadelphia past Atlanta.

Andre Iguodala scored 18, and Brand had 10 rebounds to go with his 10-for-12 shooting.

Coming off a 21-point loss to lowly Washington on Friday that knocked them out of first place in the Atlantic Division and down to No. 7 in the Eastern Conference, the Sixers earned a hard-fought win against a team ahead of them in the standings.

Josh Smith led Atlanta with 34 points and Joe Johnson had 15. The Hawks have lost three of four after winning four straight.

The 76ers pulled within a half-game of Boston in the Atlantic.

KNICKS 91, CAVALIERS 75

NEW YORK (AP) — JR Smith scored 20 points, Carmelo Anthony had 19, and New York shook off bad Jeremy Lin injury news to beat Cleveland.

Already without Amare Stoudemire, the Knicks announced before the game that Lin would have surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee and could miss six weeks. That leaves them without their second- and third-leading scorers as they try to hold onto a playoff spot.

But they showed they still may have enough. Tyson Chandler had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the eighth-place Knicks, who bounced back from a loss in Atlanta on Friday to win for the ninth time in 11 games. They have won seven in a row at home.

Antawn Jamison scored 13 for the Cavaliers, who played without injured rookie Kyrie Irving.

PISTONS 110, BOBCATS 107, OT

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — Will Bynum’s 3-pointer with 15.7 seconds left in regulation sent the game into overtime, and Detroit went on to edge Charlotte.

The Bobcats led 93-85 with under 2:00 remaining before Detroit’s Brandon Knight made a pair of 3-pointers and Bynum sank his tying shot from the left wing. Gerald Henderson had a great chance to win it for Charlotte, but his driving bank shot missed in the final seconds.

Jonas Jerebko put the Pistons ahead 105-103 on a tip-in with 50.5 seconds left in overtime, and Detroit led 108-104 before Reggie Williams made a 3-pointer with 6.4 seconds left to cut it to one. Tayshaun Prince made two free throws for Detroit, and Charlotte’s Byron Mullens and Williams both missed last-ditch 3-pointers.

SPURS 112, PACERS 103

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Tim Duncan had 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead San Antonio to its seventh consecutive win.

Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili added 18 points apiece for the Spurs, who are 8-1 since making a rare plunge into midseason moves by adding forwards Stephen Jackson and Boris Diaw.

Paul George and Danny Granger each scored 18 for Indiana. The Pacers have lost two of three while trying to break out of the jammed East playoff picture and secure some home-court edge.

The Spurs aren’t budging in the standings, either. They’re 2 1/2 games behind first-place Oklahoma City and remain stuck behind the similarly streaking Thunder.

(PhatzRadio / AP) — Russell Westbrook scored 36 points, Kevin Durant added 21 and the West-leading Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 102-93 Thursday night for their fifth consecutive victory in the matchup of division leaders.

The Thunder shot 46 per cent, ending their streak of hitting 50 per cent or better in their four previous games.

Andrew Bynum had 25 points and 13 rebounds and Kobe Bryant added 23 points for the Lakers, who have lost their last two at home and are 0-2 against the Thunder this season, including a 15-point road loss last month.

Oklahoma City pulled away to open the fourth quarter with a 10-0 run that stretched its lead to 88-70 while Westbrook kept Bryant tied up offensively. Westbrook and Durant scored four points each in the spurt that had Laker fans booing.

The Lakers responded with a 14-4 run to close to 96-89, with Metta World Peace hitting two three-pointers and Bryant not scoring. Westbrook and Durant missed shots, but the NBA’s highest scoring duo regrouped in time to score their team’s final 10 points.

Westbrook scored 17 points in the third, when the Thunder dominated, 34-19, in taking a 78-68 lead into the final 12 minutes. Durant was limited to a lone three-pointer while Westbrook scored at will, alternately slashing to the basket or hitting from the perimeter. His three-pointer beat the buzzer to end the quarter.

Kendrick Perkins had 10 of his 12 points in the third.

The Thunder were limited to 36 per cent shooting in the first half, when they trailed 49-44. The Lakers got off to a strong start, leading 30-18 after one quarter behind nine points by Bryant and eight from Bynum. Oklahoma City outscored the Lakers 26-19 in the second quarter and took off from there.

Heat 106, Mavericks 85

MIAMI (AP) — LeBron James and Chris Bosh each finished with 19 points and nine rebounds, Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem scored 16 apiece and the Miami Heat extended their home winning streak to 15 with a 106-85 win over the Dallas Mavericks in an NBA finals rematch on Thursday night.

Mario Chalmers scored 12 points and Norris Cole added 10 for Miami, which swept its two games with Dallas this season and snapped a two-game losing streak.

Dirk Nowitzki scored 25 for Dallas, but was held to 1-for-9 shooting in the second half. Lamar Odom had 12 for the Mavericks, who were outrebounded 44-29 and were held to only two fast-break points.

Miami outscored Dallas 26-13 in the fourth quarter to cap the win.

PACERS 93, WIZARDS 89

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Danny Granger scored 25 points to lead Indiana past Washington.

David West had 14 points and eight rebounds for the Pacers and George Hill also scored 14. Indiana bounced back from a 16-point loss at New Jersey on Wednesday night to win for the third time in four games.

Jordan Crawford scored 20 points and Nene had 16 points and 13 rebounds for Washington, which has lost five straight.

Roy Hibbert scored five of his nine points during the Pacers’ 7-2 run late in the fourth quarter that separated the teams after they were tied at 80-all with 4:52 remaining.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Russell Westbrook scored 45 points, Kevin Durant added 40 points and a season-high 17 rebounds and the Oklahoma City Thunder overcame a career-high 51 points from Minnesota All-Star Kevin Love to beat the Timberwolves 149-140 in double overtime Friday night.

Westbrook set the tone in the second overtime, stealing the ball on Minnesota’s opening possession and racing to the other end for a layup that resulted in a three-point play.

The Thunder never trailed in the period and put it away with nine straight points after Nick Collison blocked Love’s shot that would have tied it at 140.

Love, who beat Durant in the 3-Point Contest on All-Star weekend, made a career-high seven 3s and also pulled down 14 rebounds while becoming the third player to eclipse 50 points this season.

LAKERS 103, TRAIL BLAZERS 96

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Andrew Bynum had 28 points and nine rebounds and point guard Ramon Sessions had 20 points and 11 assists in his first start for the Lakers.

Kobe Bryant scored 18 points for Los Angeles, which finished with a season-high 33 assists and increased its Pacific Division lead to 3 1/2 games over the idle Clippers. Pau Gasol had 16 rebounds and 10 points.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Ryan Anderson scored 17 points, Dwight Howard added 16 points and 13 rebounds, and Orlando held off Cleveland.

All five Magic players scored in double figures as they sizzled shooting the ball early before having to fight off a Cleveland charge in third quarter. They improved to 18-3 when all their starters reach double digits.

The Magic have won eight straight games over the Cavaliers. Orlando is off until Monday, when it begins a two-game road trip against Toronto.

Antawn Jamison scored 16 points and had nine rebounds to lead Cleveland. Tristan Thompson added 15 points and 11 boards, and Kyrie Irving had 13 points.

The Cavs lost for the fifth time in six games.

The Bucks had no problem exploiting the smaller Bobcats, who were without center Gana Diop and forward Eddy Najera, and had waived Boris Diaw earlier in the week, leaving them with very little in the way of height.

Kemba Walker and Derrick Brown each had 13 points for the Bobcats. Corey Maggette, who fought off a back injury and an illness this week to play against this former team, was held to 10 points on 2-of-9 shooting for Charlotte.

TORONTO (AP) — DeMar DeRozan scored 30 points before leaving with an injury, Andrea Bargnani had 21 and Toronto snapped New York’s five-game winning streak.

The Raptors, who had lost seven of 10 coming in, never trailed and led by as many as 22.

Gary Forbes scored 19 points, one shy of his career-high, and Jose Calderon had 10 assists as Toronto snapped a three-game skid and handed New York its first defeat under coach Mike Woodson.

DeRozan fell hard after a collision with Calderon with 2:59 left, got up and hobbled straight to the locker room.

Amare Stoudemire scored 17 points, Steve Novak had 15 and Carmelo Anthony 12 for the Knicks, who came in having won six of seven against the Raptors, including three straight in Toronto.

Teague’s layup gave the Hawks a nine-point lead, their biggest of the game, with 3:56 remaining. The Nets pulled within four before Smith had a basket and two free throws to put Atlanta up 88-80 with 2:05 remaining.

There was a serious scare when Celtics guard Mickael Pietrus left on a stretcher and was hospitalized after an awkward collision late in the first half. He was listed as having a questionable closed head injury. Pietrus landed hard on his tailbone and his head nearly smacked the court. He instantly clutched the back of his head with both hands and rolled over on his side.

Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce each scored 20 points for Boston. Rajon Rondo had 17 assists.

SPURS 104, MAVERICKS 87

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Manu Ginobili had 11 points and seven assists while starting in place of an injured Tony Parker, leading the San Antonio Spurs to a 104-87 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night.

Danny Green added 18 points, Tim Duncan 15 and Matt Bonner 12 for the Spurs, who have the second-best record in the Western Conference at 31-14.

It was the fourth and final meeting of the season between the in-state rivals in the lockout-shortened schedule. All the victories came on each team’s home court.

Parker, who missed his third game of the season, sat out with a strained right quadriceps.

Jason Terry led the Mavericks with 18 points, Dirk Nowitzki had 16, Jason Kidd scored 14 and Shawn Marion had 13.

JAZZ 121, NUGGETS 102

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Al Jefferson had 23 points and eight rebounds, Gordon Hayward chipped in 15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, and Utah won its sixth straight.

All five starters reached double figures for the Jazz as Paul Millsap had 14 points, C.J. Miles scored 12 and Devin Harris added 13 points and nine assists. Alec Burks led a strong bench contribution with 15 points. Derrick Favors chipped in 12 points and seven rebounds.

Al Harrington scored 20 points off the bench for Denver, while Arron Afflalo added 14 points before a third-quarter ejection. Kenneth Faried added 16 points, Andre Miller chipped in 14 and Wilson Chandler had 13 for the Nuggets.

MIAMI (AP) — Dwyane Wade scored 14 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter, Chris Bosh added 23 points and the Miami Heat beat the Orlando Magic 91-81 on Sunday night to extend their home winning streak to 13 games.

LeBron James finished with 14 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists and five steals for the Heat. His pass with 3:46 left made it past two Magic defenders and set up Bosh for perhaps the clincher, a three-point play that stretched Miami’s lead to 84-73.

And with the way Miami was playing defense, that was enough: Orlando scored 12 points in a span of nearly 16 minutes in the second half.

Dwight Howard finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds for Orlando. Quentin Richardson was 5 for 7 on 3-pointers for a 15-point night for the Magic, who split four games with Miami this season, both teams going 2-0 at home.

JAZZ 103, LAKERS 99

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Paul Millsap scored 24 points, Enes Kanter added 17 points and eight rebounds, and Utah handed Los Angeles just its second home loss since Christmas.

Rookie Alec Burks scored 13 of his 17 points in the fourth quarter for the Jazz, who snapped the Lakers’ five-game winning streak while winning three straight games of their own for the first time in two months. Utah has posted back-to-back wins without leading scorer Al Jefferson, who attended his grandmother’s funeral in Mississippi this weekend.

NBA scoring leader Kobe Bryant had 15 points on 3-for-20 shooting for the Lakers, punctuating his horrific night by missing a tying 3-point attempt in the waning seconds.

Andrew Bynum had 33 points and 11 rebounds while making 12 of his 14 shots for Los Angeles, which had won 19 of its last 20 games at Staples Center since losing its season opener to Chicago.

CLIPPERS 87, PISTONS 83, OT

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Chris Paul scored nine of his 19 points in overtime and added a season-high 15 assists, carrying Los Angeles over Detroit.

Blake Griffin had 17 points and 11 rebounds, and he tipped in Paul’s missed layup with 19 seconds left in regulation before Paul swiped the ball from Tayshaun Prince to send it to overtime.

After hitting two long jumpers early in overtime, Paul capped a dominant performance by grabbing control of a jump-ball tip and getting it to Randy Foye for a layup with 7 seconds left. He added two free throws with 3.4 seconds left as Los Angeles finished 3-3 in a stretch of six home games in eight days.

Greg Monroe scored six of his 23 points in overtime and added 15 rebounds for Detroit, which dropped to 1-3 on its five-game Western Conference road trip. Prince scored 20 points for the Pistons, who went 3 for 16 in the fourth quarter while blowing a late nine-point lead.

THUNDER 111, TRAIL BLAZERS 95

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Russell Westbrook scored 28 points, Kevin Durant had 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists, and Oklahoma City began work on restoring its home-court dominance, beating Portland.

James Harden added 14 points for Oklahoma City, which moved to 10-1 this season in the game immediately following a loss. The Thunder had lost at home to the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.

Oklahoma City had lost three of its last four games at Chesapeake Energy Arena after opening the season 17-1 at home. That lone loss was to the Blazers, but that Portland squad bore little resemblance to the lineup the Blazers fielded on Sunday.

Jamal Crawford led Portland with 23 points while Raymond Felton had 19.

SUNS 99, ROCKETS 86

PHOENIX (AP) — Michael Redd scored a season-high 25 points off the bench and Phoenix beat Houston for its fourth straight win.

Channing Frye scored 19 and Marcin Gortat had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Suns, who moved within a half-game of the Rockets for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Phoenix, which moved over .500 for the first time this season at 23-22, is 11-3 over its past 14 games and 8-1 at home since the All-Star break.

Luis Scola scored 18 points and Goran Dragic added 16 for the short-handed Rockets, who have lost eight of 11.

HAWKS 103, CAVALIERS 87

CLEVELAND (AP) — Joe Johnson scored 28 points and short-handed Atlanta beat Cleveland for the sixth straight time.

Atlanta had only 10 players available, but took an early lead that it never relinquished.

The Hawks built a 19-point lead midway through the third quarter and answered Cleveland’s only run late in the period to win going away. Jeff Teague added 18 points for the Hawks and Kirk Hinrich scored 14.

Alonzo Gee matched a career high with 20 points to lead Cleveland, which has lost three straight. Rookie Kyrie Irving scored 19 points and had 10 assists for his first career double-double.

KINGS 115, TIMBERWOLVES 99

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Marcus Thornton scored 24 points and Sacramento used a strong second half to beat slumping Minnesota.

The Kings were tied at halftime, but gained the lead for good by outscoring Minnesota 33-25 in the third quarter. Sacramento quickly built on its eight-point lead after three quarters and the Timberwolves trailed by double digits for much of the fourth.

Isaiah Thomas scored 18 points, John Salmons added 15 and Jason Thompson had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Kings. Chuck Hayes had a season-high 12 points and eight rebounds.

Kevin Love had his 33rd 20-10 game, scoring 21 points and getting 11 rebounds for the Timberwolves, losers of three straight and four of five. Derrick Williams had 16 points and nine rebounds.

GRIZZLIES 97, WIZARDS 92

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Rudy Gay scored 27 points, including five in the final 23.9 seconds, to lift Memphis over Washington.

Mike Conley added 17 points and six assists for Memphis, which snapped a two-game losing streak. Marc Gasol had 15 points and Zach Randolph added 13. Randolph, Gay and Gasol had nine rebounds apiece, helping Memphis to a 53-40 advantage on the boards.

John Wall led the Wizards with 25 points and six assists. Jordan Crawford finished with 22 points, and Kevin Seraphin had 12 points and 12 rebounds as Washington lost for the fifth time in the last six.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kobe Bryant scored 28 points, Ramon Sessions had seven points and five assists as a reserve in his Los Angeles debut, and the Lakers beat Minnesota 97-92 Friday night for their 19th consecutive victory over the Timberwolves.

Andrew Bynum had 15 points and 14 rebounds, and Pau Gasol added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the Lakers’ fifth straight win overall — and their first game since early 2007 without Derek Fisher in their starting lineup.

The five-time NBA champion point guard was traded to Houston on Thursday, and Sessions arrived from Cleveland to replace him along with promoted starter Steve Blake. Sessions made an immediate impression with three quick layups and several sharp passes.

Bryant hit five 3-pointers and scored 17 points in the second half while revealing no obvious displeasure with the loss of Fisher, his teammate for 13 of their 16 NBA seasons.

Kevin Love had 27 points and 15 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who have lost four of five.

KNICKS 115, PACERS 100

NEW YORK (AP) — Tyson Chandler scored 16 points, Jeremy Lin had 13 and New York beat Indiana for its second straight dominant victory under interim coach Mike Woodson.

JR Smith added 16 points and Steve Novak 12 for New York two nights after beating Portland by 42 on the day Mike D’Antoni resigned.

The Pacers never led and had their two-game winning streak snapped.

Danny Granger shot 4 of 15 and had nine points, while All-Star Roy Hibbert was 2 of 10 and scored four. Darren Collison led Indiana with 15 points.

Carmelo Anthony finished with 12 points on 4-for-12 shooting for the Knicks.

HEAT 84, 76ERS 78

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — LeBron James scored 29 points, Dwyane Wade had 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Miami held on to beat Philadelphia.

The Heat almost had an epic collapse after leading by 29 points in the third quarter. Led by a hard-charging Lou Williams and Evan Turner, the Sixers sliced Miami’s lead to four points.

James, though, refused to let the lead completely slip away. He hit a pull-up jumper and sank a pair of free throws in the final 90 seconds to help the Heat end a four-game road losing streak. The Heat had lost two straight games overall.

Turner had 13 points, Williams 12, and Andre Iguodala had 11 points and 10 rebounds.

SPURS 114, THUNDER 105

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Tony Parker scored 25 points, Tim Duncan added 16 points and 19 rebounds, and San Antonio inched closer to Oklahoma City in the Western Conference standings.

San Antonio rolled to a 27-point lead in the first half and was up by 20 late in the third quarter before Oklahoma City rallied within two down the stretch.

Duncan muscled past Serge Ibaka at the left block to answer Kevin Durant’s 3-pointer that pulled the Thunder to 107-105, and Danny Green had a steal and dunk that put the game away.

Russell Westbrook had 36 points and Durant 25 for first-place Oklahoma City, which leads San Antonio by three games in the West.

TRAIL BLAZERS 100, BULLS 89

CHICAGO (AP) — LaMarcus Aldridge scored 21 points and Wesley Matthews added 18 as Portland beat Chicago, which was without leading scorer Derrick Rose.

After an emotional win over the Heat without Rose on Wednesday, the Bulls were unable to win a second straight game with the reigning MVP sitting on the bench with a strained groin.

One day after trading starters Gerald Wallace and Marcus Camby, and firing head coach Nate McMillan, the Blazers hung with the Bulls through three quarters and pulled away in the fourth.

Carlos Boozer finished with 22 points and 14 rebounds and Luol Deng added 19 points for the Bulls, who fell to 8-4 this season with Rose sidelined.

HAWKS 102, WIZARDS 88

ATLANTA (AP) — Joe Johnson matched his season high with 34 points, including the first two baskets of a decisive 11-0 run in the fourth quarter, to lead Atlanta over Washington.

Josh Smith had 23 points, eight assists and seven rebounds for the Hawks.

Trevor Booker scored 18 points for the Wizards, who have lost eight straight in Atlanta.

After trailing 54-50 at halftime, the Hawks took the lead with a 24-8 run that turned a 60-56 deficit in the third quarter into an 80-68 lead less than 3 minutes into the final period.

After the Wizards scored six straight, the Hawks stretched the lead with an 11-0 run which started with back-to-back baskets by Johnson.

MAGIC 86, NETS 70

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Dwight Howard scored 18 points, and Jameer Nelson and Glen Davis each had 13 to help Orlando easily beat New Jersey.

Ryan Anderson added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Magic, who built a 20-point lead and cruised from there. Orlando won for the fourth time in five games and extended its winning streak against the Nets to 10.

Reserve Gerald Green scored 15 points to lead the Nets. DeShawn Stevenson, who scored 11 points, was the only New Jersey starter to reach double figures.

The Nets have lost three of their last four games.

KINGS 120, CELTICS 95

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Marcus Thornton hit five 3-pointers and scored a season-high 36 points as Sacramento beat Boston to snap a three-game losing streak.

The Kings set a season high for points and pulled away in the third quarter, shooting 70 percent and scoring 41 points in building a 19-point lead.

Jason Thompson matched his season best with 21 points and had 15 rebounds for the Kings, who are 3-3 on a nine-game homestand — a franchise record for consecutive home games.

DeMarcus Cousins added 20 points, and Isaiah Thomas had 13 points and 10 assists.

Ray Allen made five 3-pointers and scored 26 points for Boston. Paul Pierce added 19.

BUCKS 120, WARRIORS 98

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Monta Ellis returned to Oracle Arena in his much-hyped Bucks debut and finished with 18 points, four rebounds and four assists as Milwaukee beat Golden State.

Ellis was traded to Milwaukee at the deadline after seven seasons with Golden State.

Luc Mbah a Moute had a career-high 22 points and season-best 17 rebounds for Milwaukee, which extended its season-best winning streak to five with their sixth win in seven games.

Drew Gooden added 16 points, 11 rebounds and four assists, and Carlos Delfino had 15 points and nine rebounds for the Bucks.

Rookie Klay Thompson scored 19 points for the Warriors.

SUNS 109, PISTONS 101

PHOENIX (AP) — Jared Dudley scored 23 points, and Channing Frye added 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead Phoenix over Detroit.

Marcin Gortat added 16 points to help the Suns win their second straight game and improve to 8-2 since the All-Star break.

Rodney Stuckey scored 23 points to lead the Pistons, who lost their second in six games.

Phoenix trailed 80-79 to start the fourth quarter before Robin Lopez made a pair of free throws and dropped in a hook from the left base line to give the Suns an 83-80 lead.

The Suns held Detroit to two points in the final 1:41 to hold on.

RAPTORS 114, GRIZZLIES 100, OT

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — Jerryd Bayless scored five of his 28 points in overtime and added nine assists to help Toronto beat Memphis.

Gary Forbes had a career-high 20 points, and Andrea Bargnani and DeMar DeRozan added 18 apiece for Toronto.

Marc Gasol led the Grizzlies with a season-high 28 points, and Rudy Gay added 26 points and 11 rebounds before fouling out early in overtime.

Gay hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key with half a second left in regulation to tie it at 103. Toronto had one more chance, but Bargnani’s heave from near midcourt was off the mark.

NEW YORK (AP) — Mike D’Antoni is gone, and the Knicks finally got his offense right.

Amare Stoudemire made all seven shots in the first half, Carmelo Anthony passed and shot well, and the Knicks shook off the surprising departure of their coach to rout the Portland Trail Blazers 121-79 on Wednesday night, snapping a six-game losing streak.

Anthony, who denied wanting a trade or having friction with D’Antoni earlier Wednesday, had 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting and tied a season high with seven assists. Stoudemire finished with 17 points and shot 8 of 10, before both stars sat out the fourth quarter while the Knicks rang up their highest point total of the season.

LaMarcus Aldridge and Gerald Wallace each scored 15 points for the Trail Blazers.

LAKERS 107, HORNETS 101, OT

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Kobe Bryant scored 33 points, and the Los Angeles Lakers won their fourth straight game and second straight in overtime.

For the second night in a row, the Lakers climbed out of a double-digit hole in the second half to force an extra period. On Tuesday night, they came back from 17 down to win at Memphis in double-overtime. The Hornets also led by as many as 17 late in the second quarter and 15 in the second half.

The Lakers needed only one extra session in New Orleans, taking the lead on Derek Fisher’s jumper in the final minute and going ahead 102-99 on Metta World Peace’s steal and fast-break layup.

Andrew Bynum added 25 points and Pau Gasol 18 for Los Angeles.

Jarrett Jack scored 30 for New Orleans.

SPURS 122, MAGIC 111

SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Dwight Howard had 22 points and 12 rebounds while losing what could be his last game with Orlando.

Howard, who said before the game he won’t surrender his right to become a free agent this summer, had 22 points and 12 rebounds on the eve of the NBA trade deadline.

Tony Parker had 31 points and 12 assists, and Tim Duncan had 21 points and 13 rebounds as the Spurs closed a seven-game homestand by hosting the NBA’s biggest drama.

Parker, averaging 29.8 points in his last four games, was serenaded by chants of “M-V-P! M-V-P!” in the closing minutes.

PACERS 111, 76ERS 94

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Danny Granger scored 20 points and Indiana shot a season-high 57 percent from the field to win its second straight.

David West scored 18 points, George Hill had 17 and Roy Hibbert added 14 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three blocks for the Pacers, who outrebounded the 76ers 37-26.

Evan Turner scored 21 points, Jrue Holiday had 17, Elton Brand added 16 and Andre Iguodala had 10 points and nine assists for the 76ers.

Philadelphia allowed 100 or more points for just the seventh time this season and ended a stretch of holding 12 consecutive opponents under the century mark. The 76ers gave up their highest field-goal percentage in a game this season and snapped a three-game win streak.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Kris Humphries had 16 points and a career-high 21 rebounds to lead New Jersey.

Former D-League star Gerald Green tied his season high by scoring 20 of his 26 points in the second half as the Nets snapped a two-game losing streak. Anthony Morrow added 15 points for New Jersey, which shot 48 percent from the field.

James Johnson and Jerryd Bayless had 16 points apiece for Toronto, which was limited to 38 second-half points, including 15 in the third quarter when the Nets took the lead.

With the NBA trading deadline on Thursday, there remained rumors that the Nets were still in the hunt for a trade to bring Dwight Howard from Orlando to New Jersey.

ROCKETS 107, BOBCATS 87

HOUSTON (AP) — Luis Scola scored 23 points, Goran Dragic had 14 points and 10 assists and Houston routed league-worst Charlotte.

Samuel Dalembert added 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Jordan Hill scored 14 and grabbed eight rebounds for the Rockets, who’ve won two in a row after dropping six of their previous seven games.

Derrick Brown scored 15 to lead the Bobcats, who’ve lost 20 of 23 road games this season.

Houston followed up an unlikely win in Oklahoma City on Tuesday night with one of its most efficient offensive performances. The Rockets matched its season high in assists (28) and shot 55 percent overall (45 of 84) from the field.

BUCKS 115, CAVALIERS 105

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Drew Gooden had 15 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists for his second career triple-double to lead Milwaukee.

Gooden completed the triple-double with a rebound near the end of the third quarter. Gooden also had a triple-double against the Cavaliers last April, marking the last time the Bucks had a player accomplish the feat.

Ersan Ilyasova had 22 points before fouling out for the Bucks, who have won four straight.

Kyrie Irving had 28 points for the Cavaliers, who lost their second in a row.

It was a significant win for the Bucks, who are battling the Cavaliers and New York Knicks for the No. 8 playoff seed in the Eastern Conference.
