Is it skanky to date two guys at the same time?

According to Dictionary.com, a skank is one who is disgustingly foul or filthy and often considered sexually promiscuous. Let’s break this down even more though. Being promiscuous is having sexual relations with a number of partners on a casual basis. So according to definition, it is skanky if you are dating and sleeping with two men at the same time. In my opinion though, if a girl is keeping her pants on and having fun than she is smart not skanky.
Dating is a period for two people to get to know one another. Dating is not the same thing as a relationship. A relationship is what comes after dating. It is important to get to know someone before you make a commitment to them. The only people that should jump into relationships are grade school kids because they don’t know any better. I remember in the fourth grade a boy asked me to be his girlfriend during recess. We passed a couple of notes that afternoon and then after school I broke up with him. If we would’ve gone out on a date or two then I wouldn’t have made that commitment to be his girlfriend because I would’ve known he had hygiene issues.
Dating is a process that can be short or long. It is based on how short or fast two people get to know each other. When two people date, they get all the obvious questions out of the way. The obvious answers are what help a person determine if a relationship could start. Once a relationship starts, it’s the hard answers to questions that determine if the relationship can last.
If a woman (or man) decides to date more than one person, they need to be honest with the people they are dating. It needs to be clear that a commitment has not been made. If one of the two people dating wants a commitment, then she or he should decide to commit to that relationship or move on. It isn’t nice to string along a person if the intention to take the next step at some point isn’t there.
