Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has not previously said he would consider asking for extended deadlines. STORY HIGHLIGHTS * Nuri al-Maliki might ask U.S. military to extend withdrawal deadlines * Washington plans to withdraw all combat troops by August, the rest by 2012 * Decision depends on whether Iraqi forces are ready, al-Maliki says RELATED TOPICS * Iraq * Nuri al-Maliki Baghdad, Iraq (CNN) -- Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has left open the possibility of asking U.S. forces to stay in Iraq longer than planned, depending on the security situation and the readiness of Iraqi troops. In an exclusive interview Thursday, CNN's Arwa Damon asked the prime minster whether he would ask the United States to extend any of its deadlines for withdrawing troops. "This depends on the future, on whether the established Iraqi army and police would be enough or not," he said, "so this issue is depending on the developments of the circumstances, and regulated by the Strategic Framework Agreement between the United States and Iraq." He has not previously said he would consider asking U.S. forces to extend any of their withdrawal deadlines. "So just to clarify," Damon asked, "if the situation dictated it, you would be willing to have U.S. forces extend their stay in Iraq?" "Absolutely," al-Maliki said. The United States plans to withdraw all of its combat troops by the end of August, leaving 50,000 in advisory roles, and then withdraw those by the end of 2011. … [Read more...]

I’m weirded out by this. Is she trying to see if I am gay or something? Gary R., Chevy Chase, MD Gary, I doubt she’s trying to prove you’re gay, but maybe she’s expressing some deeper sexual fantasies of domination or kink. Strap-on play, or pegging, within heterosexual couples is a fast-growing sexual behavior. It doesn’t mean you’re gay, it means you’re open-minded. It’s a misconception to associate ass play with homosexuality. Not all gay men practice anal sex and many gay men practice oral sex. Does this mean you’re gay when your wife performs oral sex on you? Not at all, because she’s a woman. Being gay (sexual attraction to the same sex) is a self-defined orientation and in your example, strap-on play is a sexual behavior between a heterosexual couple. g-spot love Hey Doctor Chaves, What are some of the best ways to stimulate the G-spot? -Jacob K., Wichita, KS Jacob, The G-spot is approximately one to two inches inside the upper wall of the vagina (if she is lying on her back), and it swells when stimulated during arousal. The best way to stimulate the G-spot, or Skene’s gland, is to insert your index and/or middle finger into the vagina with your palm facing up. Using a come-hither motion, apply pressure to the upper wall of the vagina. You’ll feel a slightly rough patch about the size of a nickel. A curved sex toy in her vagina also works effectively. Placing a pillow beneath her pelvis during male superior (missionary) can tilt her pelvis upward, creating a better angle for penis/G-spot stimulation. Having a female lean down and forward during rear entry (doggy style) can make the G-spot more accessible. Remember, most women don’t reach orgasm from G-spot play but from clitoral stimulation, so don’t stray too far from what’s most effective. circumcision decision Hey Doctor Chaves, I’m 26 years old, uncircumcised, and thinking about getting it cut off. Is there any reason to keep the skin? Should I do it? -Brett E., Bend, OR Brett, Whether it’s religious/cultural reasons or looking like the other dongs in the locker room, it’s really up to you. Some women prefer cut, others prefer uncut. I’ve found that girls fall for the man, not the foreskin status. Approximately 85% of the world is intact (uncircumcised) with America on its way to having the majority of males with foreskin. The major reason to keep your foreskin is pleasure. AIDS Group Protests at AIM Clinic

7bf20ec1d8683b1c20c34afd465f6494

SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. — AIDS Healthcare Foundation demonstrators held a protest Thursday morning at the offices of the Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation, or AIM. Michael Weinstein, president of the Los Angeles-based AHF, told XBIZ the purpose of the demonstration was to bring attention to AIM’s testing and disclosure practices of patients who are diagnosed with STD’s, including HIV. “We believe that AIM is a fig leave for the industry. They put performers at risk by not telling Los Angeles County Department of Public Health where the performers who are diagnosed with an STD are working,” he said. "This is yet another malicious attack by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF)," AIM told XBIZ. "Their baseless complaint to various agencies is based upon a years-old release form. "AIM Healthcare Foundation meets or exceeds all state and Federal privacy standards, including those of HIPPA. If AHF were really concerned with something other than cheap publicity stunts, the press conference would not be in front of a health care facility where it endangers patient privacy." Weinstein said AIM claims that patient privacy rights prevent it from cooperating with public health officials who seek to protect the health of adult film performers. Weinstein said the actors’ privacy rights would not have to be violated if the industry simply required actors to use condoms. But, he added, while the county can’t get the patient’s highly confidential test results, adult industry producers can view this same information on an AIM online database. “Our primary focus is the producers. The vast majority of disease would be eliminated if there was widespread condom use, testing and partner notification.” Weinstein added AHF wants L.A. County to take more aggressive action against AIM and said AHF will continue this campaign until a change is made. … [Read more...]

Judge Denies Larry Flynt's Privacy Request

42e7f6948c01b18f226b5758e0ebe04b

CINCINNATI — A judge has denied Hustler’s Larry Flynt’s request to keep his statements about a legal dispute with his brother sealed for fear of embarrassment. Hamilton County Judge Steven Martin didn’t buy the argument and ruled against Flynt Thursday, saying his fear of embarrassment isn’t a good enough reason to keep his statements under wraps. In an emergency motion for protective order, Flynt asked the judge to keep his statements private because they could end up on the Interent where they would cause “annoyance” and “embarrassment.” Flynt’s brother Jimmy, who sued after getting fired by Larry, said his attempt to keep his statements confidential was “hypocritical” coming from a “self-proclaimed 1st Amendment champion” who has published embarrassing articles of celebrities for years. The judge concluded that Flynt had failed to prove his company or his reputation would be significantly harmed if the information became public. Jimmy Flynt Sr. sued his brother claiming he’s a partner in LFP and that both he and his brother spent 40 years building up the Hustler empire from a chain of go-go clubs into a "national multimedia empire" that includes websites, gentlemens clubs, magazines, videos, retail stores, a casino and a clothing line. But Larry Flynt told XBIZ in previous interviews that Jimmy Flynt Sr. only operated the Hustler Hollywood in Cincinnati “under a license, under his name” and was paid a salary of $250,000 a year. Jimmy Flynt Sr.’s suit seeks to have a receiver review the assets of all of the Hustler companies to determine their value which Larry Flynt believes to be $400 million. It also seeks to have the brothers' alleged partnership dissolved and for Jimmy Flynt Sr. to get at least half of those assets. … [Read more...]

From left: Daniel Schneider, Fritz Gelowicz, Atilla Selek and Adem Yilmaz Prosecutors said the four men had a "profound hatred of US citizens" Four Islamists have been convicted by a court in Germany of plotting to attack US facilities in the country. The men, two of whom were German-born converts to Islam, were given prison sentences of between five and 12 years. The judge said they had dreamed of "mounting a second September 11 2001" by killing US civilians and soldiers by bombing targets like Ramstein Air Base. They were accused of operating as a German cell of the radical al-Qaeda-linked group, the Islamic Jihad Union. According to the US state department, the Islamic Jihad Union was responsible for co-ordinated bombings outside the US and Israeli embassies in July 2004 in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent. 'Mistake' The two German converts to Islam - Fritz Gelowicz, 30, and 24-year-old Daniel Schneider - were sentenced to 12 years in jail. If the accused had managed to do what they planned, it would have led to a monstrous bloodbath, primarily among US army personnel and also civilians Judge Ottmar Breidling Adem Yilmaz, 31, a Turkish citizen, was given 11 years, while Atilla Selek, a 25-year-old German of Turkish origin, was sentenced to five years. During the 10-month trial, all four admitted to belonging to a terrorist organisation, plotting murder and preparing explosive devices. Schneider also admitted to attempted murder for grabbing a handgun from a police officer while attempting to evade capture and firing a shot. No-one was wounded in the incident. He, Gelowicz and Selek renounced extremism and described their actions as a "mistake". Ramstein air base (2007) Vehicles packed with explosives were to be used to bomb Ramstein Air Base Announcing the verdict, Judge Ottmar Breidling said the men had dreamed of "mounting a second 11 September 2001". "If the accused had managed to do what they planned, it would have led to a monstrous bloodbath, primarily among US army personnel and also civilians," he added. The judge added that there were now "many impressionable young men and men who have already been led astray, ready to kill for notions of jihad". "Violent Islamism has penetrated our society and turned young men against it." 'Profound hatred' Known as the "Sauerland group", after the area of western Germany where three of them were arrested in September 2007, the men had trained at camps in Pakistan and procured some 700kg (1,500lbs) of chemicals to produce 410kg (900lbs) of explosives, prosecutors said. Such a quantity would have been 100 times the amount used in the 2005 London bombings, which killed more than 50 people. Barrels of hydrogen peroxide stored by suspects that were seized by police (September 2007) The four men had planned to produce 410kg (900lbs) of explosives They had allegedly planned to use vehicles loaded with the explosives to kill or injure large numbers of people at locations visited by Americans, … [Read more...]

Obama outlines final health care plan

STORY HIGHLIGHTS * NEW: "Now is the time to make a decision" about health care reform, president says * NEW: Obama backs reconciliation, controversial tactic that requires only 51 votes * But GOP says reconciliation never meant to be used for such a major policy change * Top GOP leaders have reiterated calls for president to scrap his plan, start over Washington (CNN) -- President Obama outlined his final version of a health care bill Wednesday and urged Congress to bring the plan to a conclusive vote within the next few weeks. The president said his nearly $1 trillion proposal is a compromise plan that combines the best ideas of both Democrats and Republicans. He asked Congress to "finish its work" and end what has become a yearlong vitriolic legislative showdown over his top domestic priority. "Everything there is to say about health care has been said, and just about everybody has said it," he said. "Now is the time to make a decision about how to finally reform health care so that it works, not just for the insurance companies, but for America's families and America's businesses." He also came out in support of a controversial legislative maneuver known as reconciliation, which would allow changes to the health care bill to be passed by the Senate with only 51 votes -- a bare legislative majority. The bill "deserves the same kind of up-or-down vote" that was used to pass President George W. Bush's signature tax cuts and welfare reform in the 1990s, Obama said at the White House. "The American people want to know if it's still possible for Washington to look out for their interests and their future. They are waiting for us to act." He said he doesn't "know how this plays politically," but knows that "it's right." Top Republicans have repeatedly said Obama's proposal amounts to a government takeover of the private health care system that will do little to control spiraling medical inflation. In recent weeks, they have reiterated their calls for the president to scrap his plan and start over. GOP leaders also fiercely oppose the use of reconciliation, saying it was never meant to be used for such a major policy change. "I am disappointed that Democrats are moving ahead with the nuclear option," said Michigan Rep. Dave Camp, the top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee. "Big social policy changes should have bipartisan support and the support of the American people. This bill has neither. But as bad as the process for moving this bill is, the policy and its impact is far worse." Multiple Democratic sources have told CNN that the emerging consensus plan is for the House of Representatives to pass … [Read more...]

Why Women Hate Strip Clubs

Getting together with some friends and spending the night at a strip club might seem like good, clean fun to you, but chances are your girlfriend has a decidedly more negative view of your chosen activity. Why does she get so angry when you stumble home smelling like booze and cheap perfume? It’s not like you had sex with another woman, right? It turns out she has a bit of a different perspective on the situation. Here at AskMen.com, we believe that there’s nothing wrong with strip clubs as long as you’re going to them for the right reasons -- namely, to have some fun with friends. If you’re heading to a strip joint with the intention to get off with a stripper, you’re giving guys a bad name and you'll never be a Better Man with those goals. If you are indeed a decent guy who occasionally likes to hang out with his buddies while innocently appreciating some exotic dancing, yet your girlfriend simply can’t get over it, she may be what we refer to at AskMen.com as a beautiful pain in the ass. We’ll help you figure out if her protests are justified or if you’d be better off without her. Here's why women hate strip clubs and the naked truth about her claim. She’s worried you’ll cheat Despite your insistence that you follow the strict no-touch policy most strip clubs have in place, she may still be concerned that you’ll stray. After all, it is a highly sexual environment fueled by plenty of alcohol, which results in an atmosphere that makes indiscretions all the more tempting. She knows that you’ll be thinking with your other head while you’re there and she fears the lure of infidelity might win out over your loyalty to her. The naked truth: The average, decent guy does not go to a strip club with these expectations, but we can understand how she may get this impression. Explain to her the function of strip clubs to men: they are recreational spaces for chilling out with friends, not somewhere a guy goes with a sexual agenda. If she persists in her suspicion, she may be a beautiful pain in the ass. She suspects you’re comparing Strippers generally have the kind of bodies that men idolize. They wouldn’t have their jobs if they didn’t. Your girlfriend may be feeling insecure that she is being compared to these fantasy objects -- and that's a big reason why women hate strip clubs. The naked truth: This has nothing to do with the strip club and everything to do with her lack of self-esteem. Everyone is insecure at times, but if this is constantly a big deal for her, she’s probably a beautiful pain in the ass, or at least has deeper issues that go far beyond the strip club and should be discussed. She thinks it’s degrading to women Many women hat strip clubs because they think that these venues are degrading to women and encourage chauvinistic attitudes. The idea of a group of drunk, horny men hooting at a girl taking her clothes off on stage for money is probably not exactly what the feminists of the sexual revolution … [Read more...]

Update – Proposed Health Code Changes Seek to Balance Privacy With Healthcare

28cf9d9ed6888cf885c40250f4aee75b

SACRAMENTO — Proposed changes to California’s Health and Safety code seek to balance privacy concerns with access to healthcare for people with HIV. The California code currently requires the disclosure of patient's HIV tests results to a handful of entities including certain government agencies, the patient’s attorney, medical emergency responders and those who handle donated body parts. While the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, or HIPPA, protects the confidentiality of reported AIDS cases by making unauthorized disclosure illegal, the law in recent years has become a barrier to delivering healthcare services to the very people it was meant to protect. "This bill tries to find a way to keep the privacy screen in tact, while allowing the people who need the healthcare to get the services they need," Bonnie Lowenthal's spokesperson Will Shuck told XBIZ. "Laws that were enacted to protect people's privacy are now preventing people from getting access to healthcare." “We absolutely have to protect people’s privacy,” Bonnie Lowenthal said. “But we also have to make sure that people get the healthcare they need and deserve.” To strike that balance, AB 2590 provides very strict access to health data, and limits it only to healthcare providers, like AIDS Healthcare Foundation, that contract to deliver Medi-Cal services on behalf of the state. The information would not be available to employers, insurers or anyone else. “We’re keeping the door closed pretty tight,” Lowenthal said. Essentially the bill would simply make it easier for providers like AIDS Healthcare Foundation to contact people who might benefit from their services. "The provider that is working with the state to provide these services is highly regulated by the state and under strict guidelines so that no other entity is allowed access to these medical records," Shuck said. Adult Industry Medical Healthcare Foundation, or AIM, spokeswoman Brooke Hunter, told XBIZ that they are working through the proposed legislation and will have more information soon on what it will mean for adult performers. … [Read more...]

Update – More Porn Equals Less Crime, Study Says

c2889851978d4379b0be49b9e8e4daa7

MANOA, Hawaii — As the use of porn increases, sex crimes usually decline or do not increase at all according to a study done by a University of Hawaii professor and director of the Pacific Center for Sex and Society. And men who watch X-rated movies have better attitudes and are more tolerant toward women. What’s more, the study suggests that there’s a higher correlation of sexual offenses like rape, by those offenders who had a strict, repressive religious upbringing that prohibited viewing porn. According to the study, “Pornography, Public Acceptance and Sex Related Crime: A Review,” published in the International Journal of Law and Psychiatry 32 by Milton Diamond, professor of anatomy, biochemistry and physiology, “Over the years, many scientists have investigated the link between pornography (considered legal under the First Amendment in the United States unless judged 'obscene') and sex crimes and attitudes towards women. And in every region investigated, researchers have found that as pornography has increased in availability, sex crimes have either decreased or not increased." Diamond’s study goes on to say that some people argue that ready access to pornography disrupts social order, encourages rape, sexual assault, and other sex-related crimes. And even if pornography doesn’t trigger a crime, it contributes to the degradation of women by causing men to want their women to act out misogynistic fantasies. Many even adamantly believe that pornography should become illegal, the study said. But the professor's research contradicts the claims of anti-porn crusaders. Diamond said that to examine the effect this widespread use of porn has on society, researchers have often exposed people to porn and measured variables such as changes in attitude or predicted behaviors, interviewed sex offenders about their experience with pornography, and interviewed victims of sex abuse to evaluate if pornography was involved in the assault. “Surprisingly few studies have linked the availability of porn in any society with antisocial behaviors or sex crimes. Among those studies none have found a causal relationship and very few have even found one positive correlation," he said. Diamond quoted FBI stats that report despite widespread and increasing availability of sexually explicit materials, the incidence of rape declined markedly from 1975 to 1995. This was particularly seen in the age categories 20–24 and 25–34, the people most likely to use the internet. "The best known of these national studies are those of Berl Kutchinsky, who studied Denmark, Sweden, West Germany, and the United States in the '70s and '80s. He showed that from approximately 1964 to 1984, as the amount of pornography increased, the rate of rapes in these countries either decreased or remained relatively level." The report continued, "Later research has shown parallel findings in every other country examined, including Japan, Croatia, China, Poland, Finland, … [Read more...]
