Eavesdropping evidence was not synthesized with other intelligence

– The Agency four months ago intercepted conversations among leaders of Al Qaeda in Yemen discussing a plot to use a Nigerian man for a coming terrorist attack, but American spy agencies later failed to combine the intercepts with other information that might have disrupted last week’s attempted airline bombing.

The electronic intercepts were translated and disseminated across classified computer networks, government officials said on Wednesday, but analysts at the National Counterterrorism Center in Washington did not synthesize the eavesdropping intelligence with information gathered in November when the father of the would-be bomber, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, visited the United States Embassy in Nigeria to express concerns about his son’s radicalization.

The father, a wealthy businessman named Alhaji Umaru Mutallab, had urgently sought help from American and Nigerian officials when cellphone text messages from his son revealed that he was in Yemen and had become a fervent radical.

A cousin quoted the father warning American officials in Nigeria: “Look at the texts he’s sending. He’s a security threat.”

The cousin said: “They promised to look into it. They didn’t take him seriously.”

Intelligence breakdown
The new details help fill in the portrait of an intelligence breakdown in the months before Mr. Abdulmutallab boarded a plane in Amsterdam with the intent of blowing it up before landing in Detroit.

In some ways, the portrait bears a striking resemblance to the failures before the Sept. 11 attacks, despite the billions of dollars spent over the last eight years to improve the intelligence flow and secret communications across America’s national security apparatus.

One day after President Obama delivered a blistering indictment of “ and systemic failures” leading up to the foiled attack, the battle to assign blame for these failures escalated on Wednesday.

Some government officials blamed the National Counterterrorism Center, created in 2004 to foster intelligence sharing and to serve as a clearinghouse for terrorism threats, for failing to piece together information about an impending attack.

Others defended the center, saying that analysts there did not have enough information at their disposal to trigger a broad investigation into Mr. Abdulmutallab. They pointed the finger at the Central Intelligence Agency, which in November compiled biographical data about Mr. Abdulmutallab — including his plans to study Islamic in Yemen — but did not broadly share the information with other security agencies.

The in Washington was further charged by a barrage of partisan attacks revolving around whether Mr. Obama bears ultimate responsibility for the security lapse, including a statement by former Vice President Dick Cheney that Mr. Obama “pretends” that the United States is not at war against terrorists.

A White House review into the episode is finding that agencies were looking at information in silos without adequately checking other available databases — not because they were reluctant to share, as was the case before Sept. 11, but out of oversight or human error, said a senior administration official familiar with the review.

In interviews Wednesday, government officials and others provided an account of how various agencies had gleaned bits and pieces of information about the young Nigerian, but failed to pull them together to disrupt his plot. Most of the officials spoke only on the condition that they not be quoted by name.

The first sign of a threat came in August, when the National Security Agency, responsible for electronic eavesdropping around the world, intercepted the Quaeda conversations about the mysterious, unidentified Nigerian. That same month, Mr. Abdulmutallab arrived in Yemen and he soon began preparing for the Christmas Day attack.

Three months later, in November, Mr. Abdulmutallab’s father , a former senior Nigerian government official and prominent banker, became panicked about his son’s turn to radicalism, according to an interview with a family cousin. The father beseeched Nigerian and American officials to intervene before his son did harm, said the cousin, who declined to be identified by name, citing the family’s desire for privacy.

‘A new religion, the real Islam’
The cousin, who attended a gathering of the family on Sunday shortly after the attempted attack, said that what alarmed Mr. Mutallab were the text messages his son had sent from Yemen. He said the son told the father that “he had found a new religion, the real Islam.” The son also texted that his family “should just forget about him; he’s never coming back,” the cousin recounted.

Mr. Mutallab consulted with the onetime national security adviser to Nigeria’s former president. He also approached Nigeria’s National Intelligence Agency. Then he went to the American embassy in Abuja, the cousin said. There, he said, American officials essentially ignored him.

American officials contend that they took the father’s account seriously, but that he never signaled that his son might carry out a terrorist attack. Still, on Nov. 20, based on the father’s meeting, which included the C.I.A. and the State Department, embassy officials wrote a cable called a Visas Viper — government jargon for a warning about terrorism — and sent it to the counterterrorism center.

The cable referred to the father’s statement that his son had fallen under “the influence of religious extremists based in Yemen,” an American official said.

The Americans could have revoked Mr. Abdulmutallab’s visa, but they chose not to. Some 1,700 visas have been revoked since the Sept. 11 attacks on grounds of suspected terrorist connections, State Department officials said, but that step is almost always taken only after a review by counterterrorism officials in Washington.

Cable sent to C.I.A. headquarters
Based on the father’s account, C.I.A. officials in Nigeria also prepared a separate report compiling biographical information about Mr. Abdulmutallab, including his educational background and the fact that he was considering pursuing academic studies in Islamic law in Yemen.

That cable was sent to C.I.A. headquarters in Langley, Va., but not disseminated to other intelligence agencies, government officials said on Wednesday.

Some officials criticized the C.I.A. for withholding some of the information about Mr. Abdulmutallab, saying it might have prompted a broader investigation into him and possibly would have led to putting him on a watch list.

One intelligence official said that the C.I.A. should probably have shared the cable with other agencies, but he said there was nothing that the C.I.A. knew at the time that suggested Mr. Abdulmutallab was planning to carry out a terrorist attack.

“You had a young man who was becoming increasingly pious and was turning his back on his family’s wealthy lifestyle,” said the intelligence official. “That alone makes him neither St. Francis nor a deadeyed killer.

“Every piece of data, of course, looks different when you know the answer, as everyone does now.”

Analysts did not connect information
At the counterterrorism center, analysts looked at the cable from the embassy in Nigeria and deliberated over just how severe a threat Mr. Abdulmutallab presented. Sometime during that period, other information began flowing in that terrorist groups might be planning an attack timed around the Christmas holiday. But the intelligence analysts did not connect this to the story of Mr. Abdulmutallab.

There were conflicting reports Wednesday about whether counterterrorism center analysts had at their disposal all of the details of the National Security Agency communications intercepts in August.

What is clear, however, is that center’s officials concluded that the information they had about Mr. Abdulmutallab was not worrisome enough to do anything more than add his name to the biggest — and least scrutinized — of four intelligence databases. This list includes 550,000 names, and essentially serves as holding area for cases that need more research.

The government chose not to add Mr. Abdulmutallab’s name to a much smaller, more refined watch list that would have required that he be pulled over and patted down before boarding a plane, or blocked entirely from flying to the United States.

On Christmas Eve, Mr. Abdulmutallab flew from Lagos, Nigeria, to Amsterdam.

Had all the clues been assembled, he would by then have been on the no-fly list, which have barred him from taking his next flight, to the United States.

One final chance to intercede
Even if he had not been placed on that list, American authorities had one final chance to intercede. Before a plane can take off for the United States, details on every passenger are forwarded electronically to the Department of Homeland Security. There is also an electronic summary of each passenger’s airline reservation— which in Mr. Abdulmutallab’s case would most likely have included the fact that his ticket had been bought with cash and that he had not checked any bags.

Homeland Security, with this information, can request that a passenger like Mr. Abdulmutallab get extra scrutiny by airport officials before the plane takes off. But no action was taken, as Homeland Security officials said they had no reason to believe that he presented a threat.

So Mr. Abdulmutallab, after passing through a metal detector that missed his hidden bomb materials, walked onto the Northwest flight, bound for Detroit.

JAKARTA, Indonesia (CNN) — The U.S. Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, warned Thursday of an indication of an attack to Bali on New Year’s Eve.

The Embassy said the warning initially came from the Bali governor, Mangku Pastika, and that it passed on his alert verbatim. The governor, however, said there was no information about a new terrorist threat.

“We never release(d) any warning related to terror on New Year’s Eve,” the governor’s office said in a statement after the Embassy released the warning.

“We however encourage both domestic and foreign tourists to be cautious,” the governor’s office said. “The terrorists hit Bali twice. Who knows what they will do next.”

Pastika’s office said there was only a general alert on the island because of the holiday.

Terrorist groups, including Jemaah Islamiyah, have carried out repeated attacks in Bali and elsewhere in Indonesia since 2002.

The Embassy did not elaborate on the governor’s message, but the has a standing warning to U.S. citizens in Indonesia that extremists may target both official and private interests, including hotels, clubs, and centers.

“In their work and daily living activities, and while traveling, U.S. citizens should be vigilant and prudent at all times,” the U.S. State Department warning states. “We urge U.S. citizens to monitor local news reports, vary their routes and times, and maintain a low profile. U.S. citizens must consider the and safety preparedness of hotels, residences, restaurants, and or venues that they frequent.”

Unknown attackers shot at foreigners in Banda Aceh, in northern Sumatra, last month, wounding a European development worker, the Embassy said. The attackers also targeted a house occupied by American teachers, but no U.S. citizens were hurt, it said.

The most major recent attack was in July, when suspected Jemaah Islamiyah elements bombed two western hotels in Jakarta. The blasts at the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels killed nine people — including at least two presumed suicide bombers — and wounded more than 50, including U.S. citizens.

Also in July, armed assailants in Papua killed several people, including security personnel and one Australian national, the Embassy said.

Jemaah Islamiyah, said to have links to Osama bin Laden’s al Qaeda terrorist network, is blamed for the 2002 Bali bomb attacks in which 202 people, mainly foreign tourists, were killed.

More than 300 people — many of them young Australians on vacation — were wounded by the massive blasts in the town of Kuta. Dozens of victims were burned beyond recognition or blown to pieces.

The bombing was blamed on Jemaah Islamiyah.

The group was also said to be behind an attack on the Australian embassy in Jakarta in 2004 in which nine people died, and an attack on the same Marriott hotel that killed eight the same year.

China Shutters Over 13,000 Sites in Desperate Crackdown on Porn

2a41c575625f35efa1b9981e5a667a1b China Shutters Over 13,000 Sites in Desperate Crackdown on Porn

Wall Street Journal says that despite draconian measures, the Chinese government is losing the war against

BEIJING—China’s relentless purge of websites that contain may be awakening a sleeping giant—namely, China. In the wake of the news that more than 13,000 websites have been shuttered by the Chinese government in its ongoing campaign to restrict access to porn, a story Tuesday in the Wall Street Journal titled “China is Losing a War Over Internet” argues that such draconian measures will surely backfire and that the censors are already in a fatally defensive posture.

“In 2009, Beijing lost a big battle, too, in the so-called Green Dam episode,” the paper reports. “It was the most dramatic illustration of the limits of the censors’ power. The government’s plan to quietly compel all personal-computer makers put Web-filtering software known as Green Dam-Youth Escort into new PCs shipped into China was indefinitely shelved, amid anger from global companies and Chinese citizens alike.”

That said, the war continues in earnest. The China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) has announced that since Dec. 9, 3,015 websites were turned in by reports and 10,160 others were caught by the screening of the register agencies.

The center is screening the 13 million .cn domains, of which 2618 have already been closed, accused of containing pornography. The illegal application rate of CN domains has narrowed down from 25 percent to 15 percent, an official said.

Indeed, China is engaged in a high-stakes cat-and-mouse game with its own citizens. As it pursues its aims, an increasing number of tech-savvy internet users have been able to access blocked sites such as Twitter, to express defiance over Beijing’s web restrictions and share prohibited information. More broadly, says the Journal, the internet has given citizens a chance to discuss and organize action on sensitive issues.

Significantly, the war over free access to the internet is being fought without the assistance of the largest internet portals and in the world, which have consistently bowed to pressure not only from the Chinese government, but other governments as well. Most recently, it was revealed that Flickr, Bing and Yahoo! are all censoring sexual content in India, Singapore, Korea and Hong Kong, and of course, Australia has announced its intention to filter certain sexual content at the ISP level.

The war is not all about access to pornography, either. The Journal recounts the story of a man whose attempts to bring attention to the tainted milk scandal in China landed him in jail.

“After his young son was sickened by tainted milk in 2008, [Zhao Lianhai] started a to help other families and share experiences,” reported the paper. “From a dimly lighted office in his , Mr. Zhao compiled information from around the country into a database of children affected by the tainted formula, and published it on his website. Running the site and getting past government barriers on the Internet became a full-time activity for Mr. Zhao … who learned to outsmart China’s censorship system by moving his site to different servers, using special software that circumvents government filters and registering Web domains outside of China. Mr. Zhao’s activities so alarmed officials that they detained him in November, and formally arrested him in December.”

There are many other examples of China’s authoritarian crackdown on unfettered use, but for each critic the authorities stop, says the Journal, more rise. “There are simply too many people,” Xiao Qiang, a scholar who studies the Chinese internet at the University of at Berkeley, told the paper. “They can do that to a very small group … but the approach certainly is not good enough to intimidate all the voices online.”

A Few Questions About This ‘Sex Doesn’t Sell’ Study

71b93dfc0300afab430def715e9558b2 A Few Questions About This ‘Sex Doesn’t Sell’ Study

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—The media has been tickled pink by a certain counterintuitive CNN headline: “Does sell movies? Uh, not really.” But few are looking behind the article to ask tough questions about the report that spawned the story.

The study, “Sex Doesn’t Sell—nor Impress! Content, Box Office, Critics, and Awards in Mainstream Cinema,” looked at 900 films released between 2001 and 2005, and concluded that graphic sex in mainstream movies, such as it is, does not guarantee either box office or critical success. But from where I’m sitting—in Porn Valley, at AVN, surrounded by hundreds of videos of real sexual content—the underlying premises of the study are suspect.

First, the message that sex alone will sell something is assumed to be a truism, but has been proven false before. In 2007, for instance, carried out at the Department of at University College came to the exact same conclusion, but with respect to advertising. People did not remember the brand if the ads contained a lot of sexual activity, they found, especially when compared to ads with no sexual content. So where does this idea come from that graphic sex alone will make a motion picture either successful for popular with the critics?

One answer to that might be the co-author of the study. According to CNN, ‘The study was prompted by an experience almost a decade ago of its co-author, Anemone Cerridwen.

“Cerridwen had been taking acting classes and increasingly became uncomfortable with some of the sexualized content she was encountering. That led her to consider the work experiences of actresses and the pursuit of data about the lucrativeness of sex in movies.”

“I assumed sex sold, and wanted to know by how much,” Cerridwen said. “I braced myself for the worst, and got quite the surprise.”

Forgetting for the moment that “lucrativeness” is not a word, what is clear from the quote above is that Cerridwen has a sex-negative bias and should probably not have been part of such a study. Had she no bias, she would hardly have felt the need to “brace for the worst.” The results would have been whatever they were, with no value judgment attached. Unfortunately, however, most of the quotes from the authors of the study, as well as others, are replete with value judgments.

The authors also contend that the fact that the top-grossing films in the study included movies like Shrek 2, Spider-Man, Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King—all of which contained mostly minor to mild sex and/or nudity—helps to make the point that sex does not sell.

But that is ludicrous. For years, and especially during the years of the study, Hollywood has turned its back on movies with mature themes in favor of films that target teenagers and, if you will, families. They have done this for a very good reason: Older viewers go out to the movies less frequently than they used to. But whether it is a case of the chicken and the egg, and older people go to movies less because the movies aren’t being made for them, or vice versa, the result remains the same.

But the authors contend that even with more mature fare—meaning R-rated films—more sex also did not translate directly into sales. But why would it? The basic error in assumption by the authors of the study is that adults would go to a mainstream movie solely because of graphic sex scenes, which is, frankly, a very stupid assumption. I know a lot of movie lovers who are also sex-lovers, and I don’t think one of them will go to a movie because of a sex scene. The very idea, to repeat myself, is ludicrous.

And even for young males, who everyone presumes have only one thing on their mind, the idea that they will prefer a film because of a sex scene or topless scene is rather insulting on its face, and nothing in the study comes close to proving that assumption. Indeed, the premise of the entire study is built on that unfounded assumption.

But I would go one step farther, and accuse the authors of rigging the study by limiting it to films between 2001-2005, years which just happen to coincide with the explosion of the internet, which made access to porn sites about as easy as … watching a movie.

I also wonder what they would make of the following comments by Ronnie Keonig of MovieFone, who penned a column Tuesday extolling the sexual allure of Robert Downey Jr. in the new Sherlock Holmes. “While the New York Times’ A.O. Scott mistakenly deduced that this was a movie for soda-gulping teenage boys to see,” she writes, “he completely overlooked the film’s main fan base—thirtysomething (like me) who are gaga for Downey Jr. or Jude (who plays a sexy, mustachioed Watson). Scott says that the presence of a feisty female character, Irene Adler, (Rachel McAdams) ‘offers a little something for the ladies,’ but in fact the reason we’re plunking down 12 bucks is to get a glimpse of RDJ naked and chained to a bed. So guys, take your wives and to see Sherlock Holmes this weekend. Sure, she may be imaging herself in a cinematic menage a trios with the film’s two leading men, but it could still lead to some date night passio—the sort that those Tom Cruise-types could never inspire.”

Does that sounds as if sex as a draw for movies is dead, or did the authors also assume that movies only exist for “soda-gulping teenage boys?”

Movies, of course, are about storytelling, and when they are great they also instruct about the many wonders and tragedies of life, including sex. It makes every bit of sense that all people, no matter their age, respond to the films that tell these stories for them the best, regardless of the amount of sex in them, and that the ability of filmmakers to tease sexually rather than reveal all is something many of like.

But to take that and then formulate a conclusion, as the authors have, that less sex is desirable and Hollywood should heed their findings, begs closer examination.

“I do believe that there are a fair number of people in the film industry who want to make better films, and this study may give them some ammunition,” said co-author Cerridwen. “I know that Hollywood has been trying to make more family-friendly films for a while (since the ’90s) and it seems to be helping ticket sales, so my guess is that this research would complement that.”

Does it really need to be pointed out that her reference to “better films” reveals once again a sex-negative bias that has no place in such a study, and that while her “research” is interesting it reveals far more about the authors than their subject matter?

Judging from the media coverage, I guess so.

Top 10: Ways To Get Her Thinking Of You

c107d4d2d1a73a5ec2ad9698a1f26c9a Top 10: Ways To Get Her Thinking Of You

Every guy wants to make a lasting impression on the he’s into. If she’s not thinking about you when you’re not around, then odds are she’s thinking about some other guy. Here are 10 tips you can use immediately to stand out from the crowd of men hitting on her every day.

No.10 – Use “little things” to woo her

There are a ton of “little things” that look for to help them make big decisions about what kind of man you are. They instantly tell whether or not you are worthy of a second thought. Maintaining eye contact, strong posture, not fidgeting; all of these are great things for you to pay attention to. By the way, make these decisions on a subconscious level. They don’t look at a guy, then say to a friend: “Well, he maintained eye contact when I first looked at him, then he held his head up high in a dominant posture, so, I’m going to give him a chance.” Practice these simple steps and a woman will naturally want to spend more time with you.

No.9 – Break the ice online

Women aren’t interested in being bored to tears by some guy who says: “Hi, here’s my profile, please let me know if you’re interested in knowing more.” They want a challenge, they want electricity and they want someone who can hold their interest. So, be cocky, funny and playful. Say something like: “Saw your profile and I think you deserve a chance to get to know me. I think we could get along well. If you are interested, (which I know you will be) drop me a line, and if you sound as interesting as your profile says I might write back. ” Women aren’t interested in finding another friend when it comes to and romance. They want someone who makes them feel attraction.

No.8 – Get tons of dates

When guys get a woman’s number, we often start to feel weird about turning right around, talking to another woman, and getting her number too. We don’t want to be seen as a “player” or insincere. My advice? Get over it. If you enjoy talking to a woman, and you’d like to get her number and go talk to other women, just say: “Here, write down your and number. I’m going to get back to being social.” Women will see you as more interesting if you are talking to all of the women at the party.

No.7 – Get her number easily

Most guys are very nervous about approaching and starting conversations with women. However, if you can just realize that women want to meet men, and that they want men to approach them, it makes you consider that women probably want guys who aren’t acting nervous and insecure. So, be direct and use what I call the “One Compliment” approach. Try saying, “Hi, you are… [pause]… beautiful and I had to take a moment and meet you.” The pause is priceless. Look directly into her eyes as you talk — and as you pause. This communicates that you’re not afraid of her. Make small talk for a minute, then ask for her number. Easy.

No.6 – Go to a physical level

It’s important that you learn how to go from one stage to the next with a woman. Let’s say you’re at a bar or club and you meet a girl you really like and you start . You can say, “Hey, come with me,” and then take her hand and lead her to another part of the club or bar, or take her to the dance floor (or some combination), and then start again. Then say: “Hey, I’m going to this other bar, come along with me.” Once you’re there, you continue all of the way until closing, when you say: “Hey, let’s keep talking; this is fun. Give me a ride …”

No.5 – Go to a physical level – take two

A woman wants to feel that things are developing naturally, not that you are just trying to get her into bed as fast as you can. If the evening unfolds in a normal, natural way, and you can progress from one level to the next, you’ll do very well and go far. Why do you lead her to another part of the club and then take her somewhere else? Physically leading a woman is very powerful, and leaving together/showing up somewhere else together changes things. When you arrive at the new place, even though you’re the same two people who just met, you’re now together at the new place. And when you suggest continuing to talk, and her giving you a ride home (or some variation), it’s not like saying: “Come shag me.” You’re making it clear that you want to spend time with her, and it leaves the possibility of anything happening open.

No.4 – Be more than just a friend

When a woman says, “I only like you as a friend” or “I’ve been hurt, so I want to take this slow” or “I like you so much, I don’t want to lose you as a friend” — or any of the million variations of these things — it usually means that you’re not doing the things it takes to create attraction. She doesn’t feel it for you. And if she doesn’t feel it, then there are no shortcuts, my man. Stop being such a “nice” guy, and start doing the things you’re learning from me to spark some chemistry.

No.3 – Reverse your role

One of the best ways to tease a woman — and amp up the attraction — is to use “reverse gender stereotypes.” If a woman says, “Give me your number” you can say: “Look, I’m not that easy… Don’t think that just because I give you my number that I’m going to go out with you or sleep with you.” Or, if you’re talking to a woman at a bar and the conversation is going well, you can say: “OK, let’s just cut to the chase: Are you going to offer to buy me a drink or what?” Attractive women instantly connect with the because you’re turning around situations that they have had happen to them all of the time and making something funny out of them.

No.2 – Know when not to tease

Playfully teasing a woman is a great way to show you’re not at all intimidated by her. It’s not about hurting a woman, making her feel bad or being abusive in any way. But, there are times when you shouldn’t tease, like when you’re getting physically intimate. Most people let their emotional guard down during the process of having , and it’s probably not a good time to tease and bust on a woman. That’s my two cents on the subject.

No.1 – Keep her once you get her

I think that too many guys make the mistake of assuming that it’s all about getting the girl, and they put far too little emphasis on keeping a great girl once they find one. The fact is, until you’re in a situation where you’ve found a great woman who you’d like to keep in your life, you won’t realize just how important it is to know how to keep her. Let’s say a woman you really like tells you she’s thinking about seeing an ex-boyfriend of hers. Instead of freaking out, tell her she has your blessing to check it out. Tests like this one can be a pain, but this is reality, and we have to deal with it when it shows up. I’ve been in many situations with women where I’ve felt like a jealous, insecure Wussbag myself — I get it. If you’re prepared, you’ll pass the test and keep the girl you really want.

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — has announced a press conference discussing Android for Jan. 5, the same day reports indicate a launch of the Phone.

Invitations were sent to the news media Tuesday.

Google’s invitation doesn’t divulge many specifics about what’s in store at the Mountain View, Calif., conference. Another conference is planned for CES in Las Vegas.

The invitation, titled “Please join for an Android press gathering,” states the following: “With the launch of the first Android-powered device just over a year ago, we’ve seen how a powerful, open platform can spur mobile product innovation. And this is just the beginning of what’s possible.”

Mobile tech blog TmoNews released a document said to be from T-Mobile’s upper management on the sale of the phone.

It said: “Google, with support from T-Mobile, is scheduled to launch a new Android device in early January. The Google Android phone will be sold solely by Google via the web. Support for this device, including troubleshooting and exchanges, will be managed by Google and HTC. T-Mobile will offer service support, including billing, coverage, features and rate plans.”

HTC reportedly is building the Google handset, called Nexus One. Information Week reported that Nexus One will cost $530 for an unlocked handset or $180 with a T-Mobile two-year contract).

According to Engadget, the Nexus One measures a little over 0.45 inches thick, and has a 3.7-inch OLED touch screen. It possibly runs Qualcomm’s 1GHz QSD 8250 Snapdragon processor and has 512 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM and a 4 GB microSD card included, expandable to 32 GB.

The camera has a 5-megapixel sensor, mechanical auto focus and LED flash, and could also include 2x optical zoom. It also has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, accelerometers and a compass.

So far, the Android has exceeded the 20,000 app milestone and is seen as a vital revenue stream in the future for mobile adult companies.

Last month, Seattle-based MiKandi.com rolled out what it calls the world’s first adult mobile app store. MiKandi is a white label developers portal for free and paid-for apps, allowing developers to upload more content around porn.
